In the design of interior and technology in the new Gloria Palace tradition and modernity have been joined together in a special way. The elegant leather chair with ottoman and recliner offer full comfort and, of course ideal legroom. Likewise, two-floor spaces are available in the hall for wheelchair users. Toilets are not to achieve barrier-free. The Gloria Palace offers 240 comfortable theater seats. Whether in the spacious floor or on the elegant balcony.

History
On 28 August 1956, the grand dame of German film Ilse Kubaschewski can open up their dream of the perfect cinema in a gala with numerous celebrities. The Gloria Palace is regarded with its 800 seats as Munich's most modern movie theaters and conquered quickly a place in the heart of Munich audience.
A special attraction was the built-in stage water features: Controlled by an organ and the musical background, shot out the ideas meter high illuminated colored water fountains into the air and caused storms of enthusiasm astonished audience.
Gloria Palace has quickly become a popular venue glamorous film premieres - much to the delight of the lady of the house, which is also made in its capacity as the most successful German film producer of its time with numerous German and international co-productions themselves repeatedly for replenishment.
Stir in Munich audience the several stories cross, lovingly designed decorations that were specially made for the courtyard facade of the Gloria Palace and perfectly staged by skillful lighting ensured.
With its timeless elegance and unique character of Gloria Palace will remain in the following decades one of the most popular Premiere Cinemas Munich. Numerous German and international productions were able to celebrate their premieres and also at the Munich audience, the traditional hotel enjoys great popularity here.
Since 2004, the Gloria of the Kinopolis group - operated - with a more than 100-year history, one of the most traditional German cinema enterprises. After five months of careful renovation of Gloria Palace opened in December 2012, now 240 exceptionally comfortable armchairs and a broad service offering as Munich's first premium movie palace.
