The "The American Organic Cie. - Carl Gabriels theater tableaux vivants" in the Dachauerstraße 16 in Munich due to the approved construction plan by 02/16/1907 in the existing residential and commercial building (built before 1864) of Johann Rübsamen built by remodeling a restaurant and re-opened on 21 April 1907th
The movie theater was designed by the Munich-based showmen and cinema pioneer Karl Gabriel (* 24.09.1857 † 02.24.1931) founded, who had organized the first demonstration of 'living pictures' in Munich in his Panopticon already 1896th
After Carl Gabriels death on 24.02.1931, the movie theater was initially led by the executor of the heritage community, from 1932 to 1936, the theater was leased to Josef Kügle.
75 years ago, on 21 November 1936 the property including cinema operation on the couple Ludwig was (* 1882 † 1960) and Franziska Büche sold the cinema operation led their son Hans (Johann Ludwig Karl) books (* 1902 † 1975), later the wife Beatrix Büche (* 1920 † 2011).
Today's legal representative of the Kinobetriebs is founded in 1982 GABRIEL Lichtspiele GmbH; whose managing partner Hans-Walter Büche with his daughter Alexandra Gmell directs the cinema operation.
